Dolphin Lodge is located in the heart of this natural attraction. Our lodges are situated right alongside the banks of the Cuyabeno River and just a few minutes by motor canoe from the Cuyabeno Lake area. Our location guarantees free navigation and access throughout the year!
The thrilling journey involves descending a series of waterfalls ranging from 5 to 45 meters, surrounded by lush vegetation and natural rock formations. It includes the use of rappelling techniques to descend the waterfalls, as well as walking through the canyon, jumping into natural pools from heights of 3 to 7 meters, and sliding down natural water-formed slides.
The Luxury Plus room is located on the second floor, at the southwest end of the property.

An Andean Colossus with History
Chimborazo has been a spiritual and cultural reference for Andean indigenous communities since ancient times. In indigenous cosmovision, this volcano is sacred and represents the home of gods and spirits of nature. According to ancient beliefs, Chimborazo was revered as a powerful deity and, along with other mountains in the Andes, was part of an interconnected system of sacred places.
During colonial times, Chimborazo attracted the interest of European explorers and scientists. In 1802, the famous German geographer and naturalist Alexander von Humboldt attempted to climb it. Although he didn’t reach the summit, Humboldt conducted important geographical and climatic studies that would influence scientific research in the region. His expedition marked the beginning of a series of scientific explorations to the Andean peaks.
