1:00 PM to 2:00 PM | Welcome Lunch

Eco Trail, Giant Ceibo & Medicinal Plants:

Our native guides, experts in Spanish, English, and interpreting the sounds of birds and monkeys, will take you on a journey through the dense, humid jungle, crossing muddy paths, encountering all kinds of wildlife, and learning about Amazonian medicinal plants. You choose the type of hike! From easy to challenging, with durations ranging from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Tubing: This experience begins at our sandy beach on the river. After putting on a life jacket and helmet, you can practice your paddling technique and jump into the water to feel the adrenaline of the descent at your own pace while admiring the beauty of the surrounding jungle.

Gold in the Rivers: For centuries, adventurers were drawn to South America in search of gold. Where did they find it? Mainly in river sediments, a reality that persists today. Locals, using meticulous techniques, spend hours filtering stones and sand in search of golden traces. This is their livelihood, extracting and selling their finds. While floating down the river, you'll have the opportunity to observe how they carry out this process, using the same techniques passed down through generations.

7:30 PM | Dinner: In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring local dishes, then relax at the lodge and share experiences at the Oasis Bar.

8:30 PM | Night Walk: Those who wish to explore the jungle at night can join an exciting night walk. Equipped with personal flashlights, we venture into the darkness to discover the fascinating nightlife of the Amazon rainforest.

DAY 2: Parrot Lick & Chuyan Urku Waterfall

After breakfast, we will head to the Kichwa Community of ILAYAKU.

Our first destination will be the Ilayaku Viewpoint, a 45-minute walk where you can enjoy views of the Napo River, spot bird and monkey species unique to the area, and admire the treetops. We will continue to the Parrot Lick, a fascinating display of wildlife where hundreds of parrots and parakeets gather to consume mineral-rich soil, an important part of their diet.

Don’t forget your binoculars to capture this unique moment.

After a brief additional walk, we’ll reach a small waterfall where you can cool off before returning to the community. Back in the community, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the life of Amazonian indigenous groups: how they dress, what they eat, how they cook, and how they use forest resources in their daily lives. Feel free to ask questions and try traditional foods and drinks; they love to share their ancestral knowledge and raise awareness of their culture and environment.

7:30 PM | Dinner and Campfire Night

DAY 3: Chocolate Route

We’ll start the day with a delicious buffet breakfast, full of local flavors and energy for our upcoming adventures.

Artisanal Chocolate Preparation & Tasting with Fruit: Immerse yourself in the world of Amazonian chocolate as we learn about its artisanal production process. We’ll participate in making chocolate, from harvesting cacao to the final tasting, accompanied by fresh regional fruits.

After a short break and time to pack, we’ll enjoy an exquisite lunch before saying goodbye to the lodge team.

Check-Out

If you arrive later on the first day, you can request that the scheduled activities and lunch for that day be moved to the last day, so you won’t miss any of the planned activities.
