Cotopaxi volcano, standing at 5,897 meters, is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. The National Park is a vast and beautiful territory made up of pine forests, lagoons, and trails where you can engage in adventure activities. One of them is the bike tour, which we combine with a hike to the first refuge of the Cotopaxi volcano.
Upon arrival at the reception, our manager will welcome you with a refreshing energizing drink and provide a brief introduction to the tropical rainforest, the available spa therapies, and the various activities and sites you can explore during your stay at Suchipakari Eco-Lodge.

Discover the rainforest of the Amazon for four exciting days in the Napo province, just 4 hours from Quito, the capital of Ecuador.
Canoe tour along the river and monkey watching, artisanal chocolate, walk through primary forest, Anaconda Island, visit to an indigenous family, animal rescue center, butterfly farm, demonstration of crafts in ceramics and balsa wood, night walk, and White River Waterfalls.
This part of the Amazon jungle is the most accessible and traveler-friendly area, while also being unique for its Kichwa indigenous culture and its rich biodiversity of flora and fauna that we will explore. With us, you will deeply learn the secrets of the jungle and its people, feeling like a true explorer.
All our programs include accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), activities, and tours to explore the animals and the flora of the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.
Day 1
13:00: Check-in
13:30: Lunch
14:30: Canoe tour and monkey watching
We will embark on a motorized canoe to appreciate the jungle landscape and the Napo and Arajuno rivers. We will have the opportunity to observe primates in their habitat. If the weather allows, we will swim in the river. (Approximately 3 hours)
Additional activities: Handmade chocolate preparation at the lodge (45 minutes).

Day 2
08:00: Breakfast
09:30: Hiking in the primary forest
We will explore the primary forest, observing medicinal plants and local wildlife. We will visit the Ceibo tree and reach a viewpoint overlooking the Napo and Arajuno rivers. (2-3 hours)
13:30: Lunch
14:30: Visit to Anaconda Island
We will meet Kichwa families, taste "chicha" (fermented drink), and learn about their traditions and hunting methods. We will observe local wildlife such as hoatzins and caimans. (2-3 hours)
19:30: Dinner
Day 3
08:00: Breakfast
09:30: Visit to the "Amazoonico" animal rescue center
We will learn about endangered species and conservation efforts. (2 hours)
13:30: Lunch
15:00: Visit to the butterfly farm in Ahuano
We will observe butterflies in a greenhouse and learn about their metamorphosis cycle. (1 hour)
Visit to craft projects:
Kichwa pottery
Balsa wood crafts (30 minutes each).
19:30: Dinner
20:30: Night walk
With flashlights, we will explore the jungle’s nocturnal world. (45 minutes)
Day 4
08:00: Breakfast
09:30: White River Waterfalls
35-minute truck ride and 30-minute walk to the waterfalls. We will have time to explore and swim. (3-4 hours)
12:00: Check-out

· Full meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Let us know if you require a vegetarian, vegan, or special diet when registering. The program starts with lunch on the first day and ends with breakfast on the last day, or you can start with dinner on the first day and end with lunch on the last day.
