Day 1 – Wednesday / Welcome to the Enchanting Galápagos Islands
Welcome to the Galápagos Islands, where our diving adventure begins aboard the Galaxy Diver yacht. Our journey starts with our arrival at Seymour Airport, also known as Baltra Airport, on Baltra Island. Upon disembarking, our guide and the friendly Galaxy Diver crew will welcome us, assist with luggage, and transfer us to the yacht.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will settle into our cabins. Before diving, it's important to remember the strict visitor guidelines in place due to the islands' status as a national park. These rules help preserve the Galápagos fragile environment, ensuring we can continue to enjoy the beauty of this unique ecosystem for years to come.
Finally, we’ll conduct a safety drill and a test dive to check equipment, marking our first exploration among the Galápagos wonders. With the Galaxy Diver as our base, we’ll explore pristine waters and encounter amazing marine life unique to this region. It promises to be an unforgettable experience that will leave us with lifelong memories.

Day 2 – Thursday / Punta Carrión and Route to Wolf Island
A Paradise for Divers As the sun rises, we begin our first day of diving aboard the Galaxy Diver, and excitement builds as we approach our first dive site, Punta Carrión. Equipped and guided by our diving instructors, we dive into the crystal-clear waters surrounding the stunning Santa Cruz Island.
Upon descending at Punta Carrión, we are captivated by the incredible visibility and abundance of marine life surrounding us, including schools of hammerhead sharks and whale sharks (the latter visible from June to December). Playful sea lions dart in and out of the rocky underwater cliffs, adding a special touch to our experience.
We learn more about the vibrant, colorful world of tropical fish as we continue our exploration, observing schools of surgeonfish, angelfish, and parrotfish. With luck, we may even spot some seahorses hiding in the reef’s crevices.
Later, we eagerly discuss our underwater excursions as the onboard chef prepares a delicious lunch. By late afternoon, we’ll begin our 14-hour journey across the Galapagos Sea toward Wolf Island.

Day 3 – Friday: Shark Bay, The Banana, Window Islet, and The Collapse
A Magnificent Marine Expedition Today, an exciting diving adventure awaits as we explore the hidden riches of this enchanted place.
Our first stop is the breathtaking Shark Bay, where we’ll have the chance to observe majestic Galápagos sharks, eagle rays, and sea lions that greet us as we dive into the ocean’s depths. These magnificent animals, with their graceful movements, will leave us in awe.
After an exhilarating morning dive, we head to The Banana to continue our expedition and discover the abundant marine life of the Galápagos Islands. Here, we can watch playful sea lions in their natural environment, moving around us with elegance and hypnotic beauty.
As the day progresses, we make our way to Window Islet and The Collapse, two renowned dive sites with diverse marine life. Dive into the fascinating world of colorful fish, turtles, and starfish, welcoming you to their natural home. The underwater beauty and magic will impress you as you explore these hidden gems.
At the end of our dive day, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful sunset and reflect on the incredible experiences. The Galápagos Islands are truly a treasure of natural beauty, and it’s a privilege to accompany you on this magnificent journey. Day 4 – Saturday: El Arenal and Darwin’s Arch
A Journey of Discovery Today we’ll visit El Arenal, an impressive site that will leave you enchanted by the natural beauty of the Galápagos Islands. This dive site is considered one of the best in the world, near Darwin’s Arch, featuring moderate to strong currents with depths ranging from 14 to 37 meters and visibility from 12 to 24 meters. Upon diving into the sea, you’ll be greeted by the impressive underwater biodiversity of the Galapagos.
We then head to Darwin’s Arch, one of the world’s most iconic dive sites. This inspiring site is a must-visit for any diving enthusiast, and we are thrilled to share this incredible experience with you. As you dive into the deep blue waters, a world of vibrant coral, colorful fish schools, and the majestic presence of hammerhead sharks awaits.
The thrill of diving at Darwin’s Arch is indescribable, and you will be amazed by the beauty of this underwater paradise.

Day 5 – Sunday: El Arenal, The Collapse, and Shark Bay
A Marine Adventure Our first dive site of the day will be El Arenal. While exploring the vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life, we will have the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of species. These may include dolphins, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, rays, Galapagos sharks, and even tiger sharks and orcas.
After an exciting morning dive, we head to The Collapse, where we will discover the fascinating marine diversity of the Galápagos Islands. This site offers a unique diving experience, with its underwater cliffs and caves, and we’ll find many species like green turtles, sea lions, and eagle rays. This site is especially remarkable for its bull sharks, one of the few places in the world to dive with them in shallow waters.

Day 6 – Monday: Cabo Douglas and Punta Vicente Roca
A Journey into the Unknown We continue our journey aboard the Galaxy Diver through the pristine waters of the Galápagos Islands, with incredible dives planned for our sixth day.
Our day begins with a dive at Cabo Douglas, where we can observe marine iguanas feeding on underwater algae. These elegant creatures warm up in the sun before diving into the sea for about 20 minutes to feed. Watching them glide through the water is truly unforgettable. The seas surrounding Cabo Douglas are filled with unique marine life, such as the famous Galápagos marine iguana, red-lipped batfish, sea lions, Galápagos penguins, and flightless cormorants.
Our next dive site is Punta Vicente Roca, located on the northwest coast of Isabela Island. The abundance of colorful corals and gorgonians makes this one of the best spots in the Galápagos Islands for enjoying macro life, such as seahorses, various nudibranch species, and even the elusive Mola Alexandrini (mola mola), the world’s largest bony fish.

Day 7 – Tuesday: Cousin Rock and Santa Cruz Highlands
An Adventure to Remember This morning, we have the chance to do our final dive at Cousin Rock, one of the archipelago’s most colorful dive sites. The vibrant coral walls and gorgonians create a stunning backdrop for encounters with seahorses, reef fish, and various nudibranchs.
After lunch, we disembark and head to a reserve in the Santa Cruz highlands, where we have the unique opportunity to witness the iconic Galápagos tortoise in its natural habitat. Walking through the lush vegetation, we may even see some of the highlands’ other residents, such as the elusive Galápagos rail or the vibrant Vermilion Flycatcher.
