Itinerary

Day 1

1. Our course begins from our office in Baños in the morning.
2. We will travel to the starting point to begin with an introduction to kayaking, getting familiar with the equipment and general safety guidelines.
3. Course participants will learn the most important kayaking move, the "Eskimo Roll."
4. This technique is used when you need to quickly return to an upright position in case you flip upside down in your kayak.
5. This day will be spent with our instructors in a pool to familiarize yourself with the equipment and practice the Eskimo Roll until you can do it on your own!

Day 2

1. This practice will take us to the river and one step closer to the fun! We will start in a level II area (non-technical rapids) where we will learn paddling techniques and work on perfecting the Eskimo Roll.

Day 3

1. It will be time to prove to yourself that you are ready to paddle in higher-volume water.
2. We will be able to put all this practice to work and tackle some level III rapids!
3. After completing the course, all you need to become an advanced kayaker is to practice your skills on different rivers!
