Traveling to the Amazon is to discover the rich biodiversity of the tropical rainforest. Most species of plants and animals live within its mysterious virgin forests, protected in the Yasuní National Park, which is involved with the coexistence of Kichwa Culture through its Community Tourism Initiatives along the Napo River.

Sacha Ñampi, a community project belonging to the Kichwa "Alta Florencia" commune, is located approximately 292 kilometers by river from the city of El Coca and less than 10 kilometers from the border with Peru. This community has great tourism potential in natural, cultural, and gastronomic resources. During our tour, you will get to know various community tourism initiatives of the Kichwa culture that inhabits the banks of the Napo River, culminating in the majestic Yasuní National Park, where you can enjoy its pure landscape and the tranquility that the jungle offers us.

Day 1

Day 2

07:30  Entry to the heart of Yasuní

09:30  Hiking - visit to the animal clay lick, 4 hours of walking

13:00  Lunch

14:00  Canoeing on the Yasuní River to the mouth of Jatuncocha Lagoon; swimwear recommended

17:00  Return to the cabins

18:00  Arrival at the cabins

Day 3

07:00  Breakfast

08:00  Visit to the Yasuní River by motor canoe, bird watching, dolphin spotting

10:00  Navigation through the Tambococha River canyon, observation of various species of birds, monkeys, reptiles, and other animals

12:30  Lunch

13:00  Visit to Jatuncocha Lagoon

13:00 - 16:00  Hiking, a good place to observe howler monkeys and other species of animals and birds

17:00  Return to the camping cabins located on the banks of Jatuncocha Lagoon, Yasuní

18:00  Dinner

19:30  Night spotting of black caimans and other species of animals through Jatuncocha Lagoon

21:00  Relax

Day 4

06:30  Sunrise observation

07:00  Bird watching

09:30  Hiking / animal observation

14:30 - 16:00  Preparation of Ayahuasca
