Tour Itinerary

Day 1

City tour in Cuenca

We will meet at our starting point to move to Cuenca.

Once in the city, we will leave our things at our hotel and head to the Historic Center: San Sebastián, a cultural, traditional, and picturesque neighborhood.

Next, we will visit the Calderón Park, known as the central park, the Square of Flowers, the Carmen church, the Immaculate Conception Cathedral and the El Sagrario Cathedral.

Later we will visit a museum where we will be able to observe the process of elaboration of toquilla straw hats, we will continue the tour with a visit to the "Barranco", a site that communicates the natural environment with the majestic architecture of the city.

We will end the day with a spectacular view at the "Mirador Turi", a landscape full of magic due to the domes of the churches, the red roofs and imposing mountains and we will return to the hotel.

Day 2

Gualaceo, Chordeleg and the Ingapirca Ruins

We will have an exquisite breakfast at the hotel and we will prepare to start the tour with a visit to San Bartolomé, a town with skilled artisans in guitar making.

Then we will arrive at Chordeleg, recognized worldwide for its gold jewelry, ceramics and filigree, then we will tour the central square to be enchanted by its wonderful crafts.

Next, we will go to Gualaceo to visit the exceptional colors and the variety of products in the 2 markets of the town.

Later, we will have lunch and head to the Ingapirca Ruins, a majestic place known as the Inca fortress.

Finally we will return to the hotel.

Day 3

Visit to the Cajas National Park and return

We will have breakfast to go to the Cajas National Park, once there, we take the path of the Llaviuco area and the "Tres Cruces" path.

Then we will take our transport to go to the Interpretation Center in the "Toreadora" Lagoon, having a walk where we will find a Polylepis forest called "San Luis".

We will have lunch in a restaurant in the area.

Finally we will return to our respective city.
